north charleston shake down

why would you starve on the street ?

you see - the man in the photo has a cup of coffee, a staple for schizophrenics

i was arrested in north charleston, south carolina for getting a cup of coffee from a starbucks/borders bookstore dumpster after i had misplaced my i d card so wells fargo wouldn't let me have the $7 in my bank account without my i d, even tho i still had my wells fargo debit card and if i had $20 in the account i could have bought a cup of coffee because the atm would have let me have my money

wells fargo would not let me have my $7 because i didn't have my i d and it was the end of the month so i only had to wait a day or 2 before my disability check came in (dementia precox and active psychosis are the first and third most disabling conditions according to the social security administration)

after i got out of jail i found my i d

it had been in the wells fargo bank vault

north charleston, sc had made it illegal for poor people to get food out of dumpsters

it was also illegal not to have valid i d

little caesar's pre makes their pizzas and sometimes on weekends in cities throws away 25 to 50 perfectly good, still warm fresh pizzas, still in the boxes

the owner of little caesar's paid rosa park's rent for the rest of her life when she could no longer work

so i had originally been charged with going through dumpsters, but missed my court date because they had put me in the charleston, sc jail for one day when they arrested me, let me go then gave me a court date

i assumed the court i had to go to was the one next to the jail so i went there only to be told i had to go to the north charleston court, because i had been arrested in north charleston

so i missed my court date and then checked on the computer and sure enough, i had a warrant for my arrest

the reason i was almost always broke at the end of the month was because someone was skimming me so i would be missing about $80 to $120 dollars every month from my card that i couldn't identify as missing from my statements somehow - this was verified for me by eventually closing my wells fargo account and opening one at key bank, and suddenly i had an extra $100 to $200 left at the end of each month, then the money started being missing again, so i changed my card and had the extra $100 - $200 left at the end of each month again for about another 6 to 8 months
